Food Stamp Account

The individual with food stamp account can use the EBT card to get food items from the retailer stores. This system is applicable for getting food products, agricultural belongings and other food items for your family members.  The food stamp benefits is not valid for buying alcohol beverages, paper products, soap, cosmetics, household appliances, cosmetics and pet products. The EBT account details or card can be used in a grocery store for getting the food items. The card holder receives three free withdrawals per month from an ATM. You can also use your independent card for withdrawing the food stamp benefits. Your benefits will be canceled from your EBT account. If no cash transaction is using the card, you need to contact the Department of Social Services to reactivate it.

Penalties for violating the law:

You need to use your card for getting the food products or cash. The food stamp benefits are not valid for buying alcohol beverage, paying loans, pet products and etc. The first you need to repay DTA back immediately. If you use your EBT card to buy other food products, you need to pay DTA charges immediately and your cash benefit will be canceled for two months. If you found using EBT cards wrongly for the third time, you need to pay the amount back immediately. The cash assistance through the food stamps will be canceled permanently.

The individuals are allowed to check their food stamp beneficiary details using the EBT information online. You need to register with your details with www.ebtaccount.jpmorgan.com. You need to have a unique card number and PIN details for accessing the information online. The visitors are advised to read EBT account terms and condition before proceedings. You need to provide a user ID and password based on your desire. The password must be minimum 8 characters with a combination of numbers and characters. You need to provide some personal details like date of birth and answer two security questions. This information will be used for retrieving passwords in future.
The PIN or password protects your account details from hackers and strangers. It's advised not use common bane, telephone number, birthday date or general information. In addition, the security question is required to prevent unauthorized access.  The EBT account needs to be very confidential and as it involves the cash transfer.

Accessing the EBT details online:

Once the registration process completes, you can access your EBT account details from anywhere and anytime. You can monitor your account balance and activity online. The account holder can send or receive messages. You can contact the customer support executives for your quires and other information. To ensure more safety, it’s advised to change your PIN number frequently. The customers are allowed to change the PIN number over a phone or online. You can also change your user ID and password for security reasons.
